In many Thai households a single tablet sits in the living room and rotates between family members. Session logs then look chaotic: genre switches, sudden logouts, and afternoon spikes that do not match any one persona.
Instead of discarding tablet traffic, segment by signed-in account whenever possible and treat unsigned tablet time as household context. Note which content types survive unsigned browsing and which require an account to resume later on a phone.
Cross-device analysis in this setting often shows phones as the identity anchor and tablets as discovery surfaces. Designing resume prompts on the phone after tablet browsing can recover tasks that would otherwise appear as drop-offs.
When you brief a workshop, bring one week of tablet sessions labeled by login state. The pattern usually becomes obvious within the first hour of review.
